Park View is a specialist school providing high-quality education and support for pupils aged 7-18yrs with a range of special educational needs. The school adopts a creative, individual approach for pupils who have barriers to learning associated with complex needs. Due to the growth of the school, we are looking to appoint classroom teachers to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about enabling every child to achieve their full potential and who can create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment to be part of developing an innovative and progressive school.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic teachers who are open to learning a modern approach to teaching pupils with complex needs. Our teachers and leaders are empowered and supported to design the curriculum activities to meet the needs of their children.

We are creating a diverse community of professionals and would welcome applications from a range of backgrounds including unqualified teachers who have vocational specialisms, ECT’s, primary and secondary and FE. A shared attribute should be a desire to always put young people first and support them to achieve meaningful and aspirational outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and differentiated learning across a range of subjects
• Establish positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform planning
• Contribute to reviews and individual pupil plans
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Promote high expectations, achievement and independence for all pupils
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies
• Adhere to statutory requirements

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Has experience of teaching pupils with SEND
• Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Can adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning needs
• Demonstrates resilience, creativity and a child-centred approach
• Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and promoting pupil welfare
• Will contribute to the wider life of the school
• Holds a full UK driving license
