An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Technician to join our friendly, busy and developing IT team.
Working closely with the Network Manager and other IT colleagues to maintain and maximise performance, reliability, functionality, security and continued progression of all TSR IT Systems, key aspects of this Senior IT Technician role include:
- Providing a high standard of first and second-line on-site IT support across the organisation
- Leading on MIS operation, development, and training
- Supporting a high standard of cyber security as part of our commitment to safeguarding
- Liaising across the IT team in terms of task allocation and resolution
The successful candidate should be:
- Sector- and IT- qualified, e.g. FE, plus Microsoft/CompTIA Certification
- Knowledgeable and proficient in PC hardware and software configuration, installation, maintenance and use
- Confident and competent in MIS and database management
- Prompt, punctual and friendly, with an openness to learning and new ideas
