We have an exciting new opportunity at Sunfield Children’s School and Homes in Clent, West Midlands. The school provides a child-centred curriculum, adapted to each child’s developmental and learning needs, and the opportunity to discover each child’s path to lifelong learning, offering a variety of educational programs designed to meet the needs of students with developmental delays, social and sensory sensitivities, Autism, SEMH and learning difficulties.

The key duties in this role will include:

  • Managing the business functions of the school and children’s home, you will be responsible for the school’s facilities and estates team, catering and domestics, reception and administration teams.
  • The role will involve aspects of financial management, technical, health and safety, premises and clerical support services to a high standard.
  • You will need to ensure that these functions support the management of the school in a efficient and effective manner, including contributing to school planning and development.
  • To work closely with the Executive Principal and Registered Manager, and to be responsible for health and safety issues within the school and residential homes.

To undertake this position successfully you will have:

  • Suitable business / administration qualifications and have experience working in a managerial position within an educational or similar complex organisation.
  • Experience of premises / facilities management.
  • You will need excellent organisational, administration and IT skills to enable you to carry out all tasks associated with this role.
  • Experience and relevant qualification in Health and Safety.
