This half day event covers:

• maintaining a SCR
• what is regulated activity and why does it matter?
• what is the difference between the barred list and the DBS certificate?
• prohibition and other vetting checks
• disqualification from childcare v disqualification from caring for children
• does GDPR / DPA 2018 have any impact?
• making the most of the update service

Attendees will receive a resource pack with useful flowcharts and supporting information.

About the Presenter
Carolyn is a highly experienced and skilled trainer in the field of child protection and safeguarding. She has already run very successful training programmes for Designated Safeguarding Leads and Safer Recruitment within our sector and will work closely with NASS to ensure that this course meets our need.
