We are looking for a motivated and suitably experienced person to have an oversight of the development and running of the 6th Form Provision.
They must ensure: the smooth running of the classes on a day-to-day basis including a teaching commitment; line manage staff including teachers and TA’s; liaise with a range of professionals working with our pupils across education and care and lead and actively contribute to ‘Team Around the Child’ weekly meetings (TAC) and other meetings as required, especially around transition.
They will work closely with our parents and carers supporting with reviews and reports, ensuring high quality communication and standards.
This role will include half termly reporting to governors, monitoring the 6th Form areas of the SEF and SDP and managing the Careers programme at RSB. They will act as the examinations officer for RSB should this be required.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be keen to promote the needs of our pupils in striving for excellence in the 6th Form and work as part of the MLT.
