We are currently looking for a Temporary School Nurse to work within our Ofsted Outstanding awarded School in Mirfield. RCN and RNLD registered candidates are encouraged to apply. This role is temporary, to cover maternity leave, and would start in line with the September 2021 term.

Job Title: Temporary School Nurse (RCN/RNLD)
Location: Mirfield, West Yorkshire
Hours of Work: 35hrs per week, term-time only and temporary
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000/pa (DOE)

Closing date: 31st July 2021, with a September 2021 start date.

Summary of Role
To assess, develop, implement, and review health care plans using specialist nursing skills to meet the needs of children and young people with complex physical and health needs, sensory impairments, and associated learning difficulties.

To promote person centred care, dignity, and compassionate support.

To communicate information effectively to other professionals, staff, families, and external agencies.

To work as part of the multi-disciplinary / multi agency team.

To act as advocate for the child/young person and their family, including promoting and protecting their interests, privacy, dignity, and respect.

Attend meetings as appropriate.
