We are very excited about the new Primary provision for children in year 5 and 6 that we have just opened September 2021. To support the primary teaching staff we are looking to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This is a new position within the school.
For the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant vacancy we are looking for someone with relevant experience and/or qualifications in a similar role who is able to demonstrate contributing effectively to teacher’s planning and the preparation of lessons. As well as this they will have experience of supporting teachers in evaluating pupil’s progress and monitor pupils’ responses to learning. Specialist knowledge and experience in behaviour management, pastoral care or early years special education needs is highly desirable.
Within our secondary school unit we are looking to recruit three Teaching Assistants. The first is that of a Teaching Assistant with Science Technician Responsibilities. This is a new role within the school. Ideally, if you have a Level 3 or equivalent Science qualification or relevant laboratory technician experience and would like to support our Science Teacher then we would love to hear from you. Alternatively, if you do not have a science qualification or laboratory experience but you have an interest in science then training will be provided.
Our second Teaching Assistant vacancy within our secondary school unit is that of a Teaching Assistant with Food Technician Responsibilities. In this role you will be supporting our Food Technology Teacher in the classroom and in the practical cooking lessons. A current qualification in Food Hygiene would be advantageous for this role however training will be provided as well as the opportunity to gain this qualification.
Our third vacancy is for a Teaching Assistant within our secondary school unit and will be providing one-to-one support for one of our pupils that require support throughout their school day.
These roles are subject to receipt of good employment references, health clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
