TEACHING ASSISTANT

Salary: £14,397.31 – £17,333.46 per annum (FTE £17,015 – £20,485 pa)
Scale R1 – R2, range 1-11
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term-Time Only

Brantridge School is a residential special school located in Staplefield, near Haywards Heath, designed to meet the educational, behavioural, care and therapeutic needs up to 54 boys (age 6-13 years).  Our children have a range of special needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

The School is part of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust and it has established a strong reputation with children, parents and professionals alike in educating and caring for pupils with challenging behaviour and associated learning difficulties.  You will join a professional and dedicated educational team.

We are seeking an individual to support students to learn in a safe, stimulating, therapeutic environment and to make outstanding progress academically, socially and emotionally.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting, and possess a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English and a relevant NVQ Level 3 or a willingness to work towards this.
