Cavendish Education are pleased to advertise a fantastic opportunity to provide Speech and Language support across two local schools, Gryphon School and Hardwick House School. Initially, it will include 4 days a week at Gryphon School and 1 day a week at Hardwick House School. We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Speech and Language Therapist to drive standards and practice across the schools.

Hardwick House School is a small independent specialist school for learners with high functioning Autistic Spectrum Condition. Their children and young people attend in small groups from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. Learners have all come from mainstream settings, but their ASD has been a significant barrier and has often led to a very uneven academic and social profile. Teaching and therapy staff at both schools work together using a strong multidisciplinary approach and prioritise the development of the children’s functional communication, social interaction skills and emotional well-being. We are building a formidable regional team, which this role will form part of, providing a growing group of professionals driving innovation, performance and challenge, but more importantly teamwork, sharing and development.
We are looking for an experienced, confident, well qualified and dynamic Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for learning and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to support the future development of our provisions for children and young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) as well as social, emotional and mental health needs and those with associated speech language and communication difficulties.
This is a full-time, term time only role.
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Salary: £31,365 – £37,890 (FTE) Pro rata (term time only)
