Moor House School & College is an outstanding residential and day special school for children and young people with significant speech, language and communication needs. Situated close to a mainline station with direct links to London, the school is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Kent and Surrey borders. Moor House provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged from 7 to 19.

The following permanent position is available with a September 2019 start:

Special Teaching Assistant, 1:1 Support (full-time)

Salary: £19,262 – £20,693 inclusive

We offer an opportunity to work with amazing students, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates may be asked to work across Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5. Please note that this role will initially be providing 1:1 support for a Key stage 2 student within a small class group setting.

Experience of working with children (particularly SEN) is desirable, but not essential, as training and induction are provided. Driving is desirable
