As a SENCO Administrator, you’ll help make your school run like clockwork. You’ll be involved in running the EHCP and other specialist SEN meetings, working in close collaboration with the SENCO. With your efficient, professional approach you’ll be responsible for scheduling meetings, accurate records, pupil files and the production of specialist reports including Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

To join us, you’ll need some previous administrative experience and a high degree of computer literacy (Word and Excel). Experience of working in a school or knowledge of EHCPs will be an advantage but is not essential.  You should be used to working on several administrative tasks and be able to switch between them, whilst providing excellent customer service to people contacting the school.  Just as important is an approachable, helpful nature, you should be ready to support our team and build a natural and respectful rapport with our young people.

For children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. Through our aspirational homes, schools and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

We offer courses such as Motor Vehicle, Construction and Hair and Beauty, allowing our young people to grow and reach their full potential.

This role is for 25 hours per week during term time only, the pro rata salary would work out at £11,029 – £11,250 per annum.
