RESIDENTIAL CARE TUTOR (ref: C197/0919)

Full time:  23.5 hours per week (term time only) plus 2 sleep-ins per week

NJC SCP 7 – 11, £19,554 – £21,166 (pro rata £10,21 – £11,053).

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic member of staff to provide a high standard of care to students with a vision impairment, in a proficient and sensitive manner that will enhance their academic and social development.  Direct contact with the students involves developing and delivering care programmes appropriate to their age and understanding.

You will be working in shifts over four days to include mornings, days and evenings in the Sixth Form Hostel and student boarding houses, and sleep-ins (for which an extra payment is made).  This position is term time only.
