Occupational Therapist, St Joseph’s Specialist Trust, Surrey


Location: Midway between Guildford and Horsham
Salary range £22,336 – £38,434pa

We are seeking an enthusiastic, HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to work within our expanding multi-disciplinary Therapy Team. This role is ideal suited to those looking for a hands on approach who want to deliver therapy as well as manage and prioritise caseloads.

At St Joseph’s, we deliver a pioneering embedded therapies approach in which our therapy team work in the classroom alongside our education staff. This enables both teams to plan together and share best practice for the benefit of our students. It creates a unique working environment and the opportunity to gain invaluable therapy experience.

Opportunities for specialist training and up-dating are regularly available.

St Joseph’s is a specialist, non-maintained School & registered Children’s home located midway between Horsham and Guildford. We provide day and residential places for students (5-19) whose special educational needs may include autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, communication disorders, ADHD and challenging behaviour.

The salary range is based on full time: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. In practice, therapist hours are compressed into term time only working (plus 5 In-service training days each academic year).  We are open to applicants looking for part time and/or flexible working.

The full time salary is inclusive of 33 days paid holiday including statutory public holidays. The salary and holidays will be pro-rata for any applicants wishing to work part time.
