Learning Support Team Member, Octavia House Schools, London

Learning support team member (KS4)
£17,000 per annum
Closing date: 15th March 2019

Our Schools
Our therapeutic schools have provided innovative, specialist provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties since 2012. Today, we are widely acknowledged as leading the way in providing outstanding specialist provision for some of London’s most complex children. Our April 2018 Ofsted inspection confirmed this to be the case.

As an all-through provision for pupils aged 5–16, we provide personalised learning and therapy programmes within safe, stimulating and nurturing environments. We have high expectations, a culture of ambition and a therapeutic, values-centred approach. As a result, we rapidly develop pupils’ emotional well-being, willingness to learn, social and life skills, behaviour for learning and academic progress.

Safer Recruitment
At Octavia House Schools, nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of our pupils. As such, we always follow safer recruitment procedures and do not allow anyone to work in our schools until/unless we can be confident that it is safe to do so. Our robust recruitment process and ongoing safeguarding culture are simultaneously the cause and result of our commitment to safeguarding; it is a commitment we expect and require from all of our staff.

All offers of employment are dependent upon the successful completion of all the relevant statutory vetting checks and the return of two satisfactory professional references. For this role, an enhanced DBS check will be required.
