Learning Support Assistant
(38.75 hrs. p/wk. term-time with paid leave through school holidays)
Working in our Therapeutic SEBD School (rated Good by Ofsted in December 2017) and under the guidance of our qualified Special Needs Class Teachers and the Leadership Team, your role is to meet the everyday but complex and challenging learning needs of the children and young people attending our School, support their educational progress and access to learning, and offer them real and meaningful experiences of living-to-learn and learning-to-live.
Starting basic salary range: £16,543.00 (£8.21 per hour) – £17,551.00 (£8.71 per hour) depending on prior experience in the role & qualifications + additional duties allowances & regular salary progression up to £17,913.00 (£8.89 per hour). Full Orientation & Induction programme provided. Commitment to continuing professional learning & development opportunities throughout your career including attendance on our own accredited Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Child Care & Education and other courses.
