Actual salary: qualified HLTA: 21,932 – £24,277, unqualified: £18,993 – £20,864

We are looking to appoint two class based Higher Level Teaching Assistants. The roles will commence in January 2020 to complement our dynamic team of Teachers by delivering learning and contributing to the planning and preparation of lessons. The HLTAs will also monitor students and mentor Teaching Assistants.
You will need to be compassionate and flexible with a calm and positive attitude and want to help our students to fulfil their potential. Opportunities are available to progress your career.
St Joseph’s is an outstanding specialist school, college and children’s home in Cranleigh midway between Guildford and Horsham. We have a staff of approximately 300 supporting day and residential places for students, aged 5-19, whose special educational needs include autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties (severe and complex), language and communication disorders, ADHD and challenging behavior.
We welcome applications from unqualified HLTAs who are prepared to undertake training or qualified HLTAs.
