Healthcare Assistant

Permanent – 36.75 hours per week
£17,883 – £21,977 (actual salary)

The role forms part of a thriving Residential Care Team that delivers exceptional outcomes for speech and language impaired children and young people at this Ofsted “Outstanding” rated Special School (10-16 years) and College (16-19 years).

Along with providing healthcare to all students, key duties and responsibilities include supporting the Healthcare Manager in the following areas:

  • Observing reports and recording changes in the learners physical and mental health and behaviour;
  • Perform or arrange health screenings when necessary;
  • Act as liaison between Moor House personnel, family, and community healthcare providers to ensure a healthy environment.

The postholder would be required to work occasional evenings.
