Annual Salary: £25,374 to £36,104, salary dependent on experience
I CAN Teachers Main Pay Scale + SEN Allowance
Contract Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Starting ASAP/ September 2019

Dawn House School is a non-maintained specialist school for approximately 80 children and young people between the ages of 5 to 19 years who have severe and complex speech, language and communication difficulties and/ or Asperger’s Syndrome.

We are seeking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to deliver outstanding teaching and learning. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dedicated team who are aspirational and committed to our students.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding specialist provision. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be a passionate teacher of Food Technology and have a genuine belief in the potential of every student
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a proven ability to raise standards in the classroom.
  • Be adept at creating an inclusive learning environment which enables all students to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Be willing to teach across a wide range of abilities and from entry level to GCSE level.
