An exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team in a flourishing independent school catering for students with special educational needs (SEND) as the Deputy Headteacher.

Abingdon House School & College is a unique and successful Independent Day School for children with Specific Learning Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Condition, ADD/ADHD, social communication difficulties, sensory processing disorders and other associated needs. It provides a mainstream style education with a specialist approach to students aged 5-19 and is part of the Cavendish Education Group.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring, innovative and highly motivated leader with a strong focus on teaching and learning, curriculum development and pastoral care, particularly at the Secondary level. They will have previous experience working with students with SEND and will lead the way in setting high expectations and aspirations for both our students and staff.
