New College Worcester (NCW)

New College Worcester is a nationally regarded non-maintained special school, devoted to the education of young people who are blind or have a vision impairment, aged 11 – 19.  NCW is a Specialist Special School and had a ‘Good’ OFSTED report in June 2019.

Care / Support Roles (ref: C215/0521)

Hours:  part time and full time are available, from September 2021.
Salary:  Scale 3 – 6, SCP5-22, £19,312 – £27,041 – depending on role and hours.

We are seeking caring and dedicated people to help a team of motivated Care staff in providing high quality and personalised care and support to our students.  Experience of working with students with a vision impairment or young people would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

We will have a number of care and support roles available from September 2021, some full time and some part time as student numbers are growing.  All Care roles are term time only and working hours are mainly evenings and weekends.  We would welcome applications from anyone interested in working in such a friendly and rewarding environment.
