Salary: Scale 3, SCP5-6, £23,500-£23,893 (pro rata salary £14,099 - £14,335)

Hours: 27hrs per week, to be worked term time only, and between 14.00 on Fridays until 07.00 on Mondays; plus an additional £40.76 per sleep in (maximum 3 per week)

New College Worcester is a nationally regarded non-maintained special school, devoted to the education of vision impaired young people aged 11 – 19. We are seeking to appoint the following member staff to work with young people who are blind or vision impaired.

The role of Residential Key Worker is to work collaboratively within the Care team to provide a high standard of care to children and young people with a vision impairment.  You will create a positive environment for the delivery of the waking day curriculum and ensure high quality documentation with Care.  Working with students in a proficient and sensitive manner that will enhance both their academic and social development is an essential part of this role.
