This half day session looks at the arrangements schools and children’s services must have in place to comply with KCSiE part 3 and / or relevant legislation. The content of the session presumes a working knowledge of safer recruitment & vetting checks.
Please note that this course is not a replacement for full Safer Recruitment training, although it will be a suitable refresher for delegates that have previously completed Safer Recruitment. Delegates who can evidence that they have previously completed the full Safer Recruitment Consortium training (for example via NASS) will receive a Consortium ‘refresher’ certificate.
Aim
To update schools on key elements of the safer recruitment and vetting process following recent changes to statutory guidance, legislation & regulations.

About the Presenter
Carolyn is a highly experienced and skilled trainer in the field of child protection and safeguarding. She has already run very successful training programmes for Designated Safeguarding Leads and Safer Recruitment within our sector and will work closely with NASS to ensure that this course meets our need.

As this is a virtual training event you will require audio/visual capability i.e. desktop with webcam plus headphones and a microphone or laptop/device with microphone and camera. Delegates will be required to have their camera on at all times during the training.
Certificates of completion will be emailed to participants following the completion of the training and receipt of a completed evaluation form. To receive your certificate you must be in attendance for the whole event.
