Joining NASS

Membership of NASS is open to all fully registered Non-Maintained Special Schools, Independent Special Schools including Special Acadmies, education services for children and young people with Special Education Needs with charitable status.

Membership rates run annually from 1st April to 31st March.

Types of Membership

Full Membership	All fully registered Non-Maintained Special Schools and Independent Schools, including Free Schools and Special Academies, catering wholly or mainly for children with SEN are eligible to apply for NASS membership. Members must sign up to the NASS Standards.
	Full membership receives the highest discount on NASS events, gives full access to the NASS website members' zone and has eligibility to vote at the NASS Annual General Meeting.
	Full Membership rates are based on School Group sizes. To calculate your membership fee please use the Calculation of Group Sizes Guide to assist you in completing your Application Form.

	Subscription fees for Full Members 2013/14 are as follows: Group size Fee VAT at 5.00% Total 1 & 2 £804.65 £40.23 £844.88 3 & 4 £1594.10 £79.71 £1673.81 5, 6 & 7 £2383.55 £119.18 £2502.73

Group Membership	For Maintaining Organisations/Parent Bodies and all their registered Independent and/or Non-Maintained Special Schools.
Associate Membership	Subscription fees for Associate Members 2013/14 are: Fee VAT @ 5.00% Total £190 £9.50 199.50
Schools, Free Schools and Special Academies Application Form	Independent schools, including Free Schools and Special Academies, catering for children with SEN and disabilities who are registered with the DfE but have not yet received their full Ofsted Inspection.
	Schools, Free Schools and Special Academies are expected to move to Full Membership status within one year of their first full Ofsted Inspection.
Individuals Application Form	For Individuals working in the fields of special education, residential care and disability outside of independent and non-maintained special schools.
Organisations Application Form	For Organisations working in the field of special education, residential care and disability outside of independent and non-maintained special schools.
